Bigger Girl Bed

Well no more crib mattress in the Foster house!  Lil sis moved out of the crib in January but recently started asking for a bigger bed.  Honestly, she was almost too big for the crib mattress on her toddler bed. Daddy asked her to trust him and as always he came through!  The best part was we still had all of big sis's princess bedding!  It was sweet pulling it out remembering all the night big sis prayed for a sister and princess room!!

Oh if only we could freezed these moments!

VBS

VBS is such a fun week!  We look forward to it and talk about it through out the year!  Our church does a huge production....this year there were over 1,000 children/volunteers registered!!!
For years big sis has watched the Praise Team lead the worship songs in the opening.
This year she participated and was thrilled!

Lil sis enjoyed watching!

Swimming

Swim season is in full swing and we are all have so much fun making memories of H.O.T Tuesday evenings at local pools.  Big sis and brother are enjoying being part of a team and improving their swimming ability!

Lil sis is such a good chearleader!

We discovered a new tradition this year.
One oposing team had a Cupcake Race for the 6U group.  If they swam the full lane using the butterfly stroke (not practiced until age 7) they could get a cupcake.
Of course brother was all for this and actually did well at this new challenge.
Can you guess who wanted a cupcake too?? And of course brother shared with  her...have I mentioned that he is the best big brother?!?! I mean how many 6  year old boys would work that hard to earn a cupcake and then share multiple bites with a 2 year old sister?!?!  Warms my heart!

Great Spring Season!

Well another spring baseball season has ended.  Brother really developed this season.  He was with the same head coach and the league's cutest assistant coaches....

daddy!!!

He knows the game well and was always focused and watching!

He was also a fantastic teammate.  He watched and cheered for his team.  He also keep up with the numbers/scores in his head!!! Impressively sweet!!

And always willing to mingle with his fans!!!

Thank Coach Bob!  We hope to see you next spring.
Brother has tried to figure out how to play baseball and football in the fall but there are only 24 hours in a day!!!

Fun at Camp

Our church has wonderful camps in the summer.
Mommy works while the children have a blast!
Each week there are different special activities like soccer but every Friday is water day!
I knew the big ones would love this but I had no idea lil sis would even consider it.  Well she was one of the first 2 year olds in line and once she went down, she got right back in line!!!
