Granddaddy's Birthday

Granddaddy's birthday and a Pirate football game fell on the same weekend so we took a little road trip!  Brother and daddy got live Pirate action with granddaddy while the girls shopped with granny.

 



We had a beautiful lunch at their country club which impressed big sis the most!

 

 

It is located on the river which was good entertainment before the ride home!



 



 

Thankfully no one got wet ;)

Brother's team had their sixth game today.  It was chilly and rainy so the girls and I sat it out.  It was hard not watching but for sure trying to watch would have been much harder!!!

They won 49-0!

Yep they are doing awesome!!!

Like I've said before birthdays are about making dreams come true...

kind of hard on a week day during the school year with three children under 9!

So decided to make my own magic!

 

 

The day started with a breakfast with my sweetie!

 



 

Then my dear friend stepped in for a very special lunch!

 

Daddy was bringing our dinner home but that's too late for these guys....so instead of cooking we headed out! The children were told to order whatever they wanted and I think they were happier than their birthday!!!

 

They got ready for bed and once daddy was home we opened presents and enjoy yummy ice cream cake!  MMmmmm!

Game day pictures are hard...movement on the field and all around!!

This one of #25 on the bench was too cute not to share!

He looks forward to game day for many reasons.  He trule loves the game and watching his teammates is rewarding for him!

Especially since this game continued their undefeated record!!

Teacher?

 

Since lil sis started her 3 year old class she has begun to play school at home.

This is not surprising considering the amount of teacher blood she has!

It is very cute to watch unfold.  Sometime her students are baby dolls, sometimes stuffed animals and other times I'm not sure who she is talking to! 

Passion

 

 

We have tried to expose our children to a variety of activities.  As they have grown, each has chosen ones that they enjoy.  For big sis it is riding horses.  She simply loves it.  She enjoys being around these amazing creatures and caring for them.  She rides once a week and the barn is close enough we can see them daily!  Her first show is coming up soon!!!

Special Outing

Its hard to believe today was brothers first social outing with his football team...until you realize how much time on the field they spend together.

His teammates met up at his head coach'e middle school team's Wednesday game.

It was neat to see the boys still playing football together!

 

 

 

Aww....the girls were not too impressed but hung in there!

 

 

It was an amazing fall afternoon for football!

 

 

This was our afterschool treat before the game but I can't move the picture so the order is off!

First Official Dentist Visit

Five short years after big is first time in this exact chair, lil sis gets her turn.

She went six months ago with momma and got a feel for everything but this was her first official visit.  Honestly, I had no idea how she would react.  But she was wonderful!!!

 

 

She brought Piper along for support!!

She adores each of her babies but this is a favorite!

 



She was at our regular dentist and the whole staff was amazing!

They do not cater to children but sure do know how to put them at ease!

Sweet

 

I got to school a little earlier than normal today and parked beside where big sis' class was having recess.  This is what I saw!  She is not running around but writing!  This is good and bad :)!

She is super creative and is always drawing, creating or writing something!

So excited to see how the Lord is growing her mind!

This week's game was a real road trip so the girls stayed home.

It was super hard to miss a minute but it was the best decision for us all!

The Bulldogs won again and are the only Tiny Mite team in their division undefeated! The boys play hard and have six strong coaches!  We are so happy to see him living out what he has wanted for so long and the winning is a bonus!!!

When brother practices so much ( everyday but Sundays in August!) the girls have to be creative!

Game #3

 

Football season has been a huge time committment for our family.  Luckily we all enjoy it.

Game day is exciting for brother and brings this momma a bit of anxiety!

 

 

 

The girls really actually like practice because there is a park and new friends to play with.  Game days are a little different.  They involve bleachers and parents that both want to watch the game.

 

Ring pops, sticker, ipods all help!

 



 

Brother is the starting center and plays the position really well.  So when the game was almost over and coach came over to grab him my heart sank. (It is pay to play so all players get a chance but after that coach decides!)

 

He happily ran out to join his teammates and of how I wish I had the video going.

He go the ball, ran a few yard and wham was stuck!

He has practiced this to many times to count with daddy but in a game it was hard to watch.

 

He came to the sidelines and grabbed his hip after high fiving!

No, I did not run out there check on him but I wanted to.

 

He was all smiles after another Bulldog victory!

Noah's Ark Day

Brother's class held their Noah's Ark day today.

Thankfully brother was ok being a dog like big sis had been.

When she got the idea I had to scramble to pull it off!

Mommy, Daddy and lil sis can to the parade to see his class all dress up.

 

 

Isn't he the cutest brown doggie you've seen in about two years?!?!

He has a really good class this year and is thriving in first grade!

First Day of Preschool 2012

 

Today was lil sis' first day of preschool.  She was so excited to go but not to stop for a picture so this is all I got.  I do not think she knew exactly what to expect because during the  summer and teacher workdays she was with a variety of teachers and friends.

She took to it fast and talks a lot about her "three year old class!"

She is one of the youngest but one of the tallest!

She is a sponge and retell the Bible stories, songs and class rules.

She loves having a job each day and taking responsibility for her behavior.

We could not be more proud of the little girl God is growing in front of our eyes!
