Football Party
Today was brother's team end of season party. What a great season to celebrate!
Upon arrival, playing football was their choice!
I just adore this picture. It was shortly after one coach mentioned never coaching a group of boys that got along so well. This was not as event to me on the sidelines but they had so much fun playing together today.
Brother enjoyed listening to coach.
Especially when he was recieving an award.
This one should have been for the entire family.
He did not miss one single minute of action. I calculated that there were roughly 44 practices from Aug. 1- October 25th with games/events every.single.Saturday!
This says a lot about his motivation to play and the healthy body he was blessed with!!
I have video of the above picture. Coach was recapping highlights for each player.
Brother did not have one fumbled snap all season and was describe as "very intelligent" !
Going down the list took awhile... so lil sis took a break!
Our two girls deserved an award as well. They were so good about going and not complaining much. The practice field was in a good location with a park and track which helped!
Brother and Coach Stokes
He was the head coach who I was sure from the first time I met him that he'd be a good fit for brother. He's tough on the boys but in a respectful manner. All six of the coached worked well together and earned respect from the first day.
Our first football experience was a positive one all around!!!
Go Bulldogs!

Tiny Mite Super Bowl 2012
Brothers undefeated Bulldogs met the only other undefeated team in the state for a Super Bowl today.
They game started exactly two hours after the wedding about 40 minutes apart.
God put all the pieces in place for brother to fully participate in both!
Bulldogs 14 Sanford 0
(these boys only allowed two touchdowns all season!)
The starting center is ready!
I still have to stop and think that's my boy out there.
Makes my heart skip a beat for many reasons!
Happy he gets to play, fear for safety and pride for his ability!
There they are the 2012 Tiny Mite Champion Bulldogs!!!!
Watching your child play a sport they have dreamed about is wonderful.
Watching them be successful is awesome.
Seeing pure joy is amazing!
We are so thankful for a fun, grueling, exciting and safe season!
Wedding Fun
Last Thanksgiving our children experienced their first proposal and today they participated in that wedding. It was a first for each of them. They were both excited...and a little nervous!
oh my...I just know there are big plans in store for this guy!
Our beautiful daughter wanted to be independent with the rest of the wedding party.
Lil sis was impressed with the bride's sparkly pink heels!
How sweet is this? Well he walked her to the row she chose and it lasted about four minutes!
Thankfully there was a playground close by!
I was so proud of how grown up they both were during the wedding!
They were honored to take part in such a special day!
Up next, the girls and I attended the most awesome reception while daddy and brother dashed over to Durham for his big Super Bowl game!
My girls did a whole lot of dancing!
It was a beautiful and full day!
We were honored to be part of God's plans for this special couple!

Spirit Week
Tonight is homecoming so all week has been spirit week.
It is fun to come up with ideas each day trying to use things we already have!
We were able to do it this year for less than $10!
Day One: Disney Day
Robby Ray Stewart (Hannah Montana's Dad) & Minnie Mouse
Day Two: Team Spirit Day
Panthers and NCSU
Yep we let her out in this...as a tribute to a Wolfpacker!
Day 3: Clown Day
Day 4 : Neon Day
Day 5 : School Spirit Day
I can to school to pick the children up early and got to experience the pep rally!
It had been a long time since I'd been to one of these! It was really awesome to see the children all come together with school pride! An advantage to a K-12 school!!

Game 8 - UNDEFEATED!!
Today was the last regular season game for brother's Bulldogs.
It was a perfect day for football - sunny and cool!
All heart for this...look at that form!
Coaches are so important for children and brother's coaches have worked so hard with these boys. They earned their respect! Coach pulled him aside before the second half started and let him know he was going to run the ball. He told him a few football things and off he went.
Off he went and did exactly what coach asked him. I have the video of him running 6 yards and the announcer saying he was tackled by "the entire Garner defense" this was cool on video but I was thankful my eyesight didn't allow me to see in real time!
He is awesome and so coachable!!
Good Game #25!
Melts my heart!!!
Tough and sweet all in one!!
After game victory shot.
His 9-0 undefeated team will play in the "Super Bowl" for the championship next weekend.
Yep it is serious business. The team they will play next week even had scouts in the stands to watch our boys!
Cutest little Bulldog sister around!!!!
