Clewis

My brother and his family's schedule didn't match mine this year at our parents.
SO they stopped by for a nice visit today before flying out for a Christmas cruise with their girls.
My children were excited and exhausted from showing off for an hour and half after he left.
Lil sis didn't call him Clewis for the first time I can remember.  Guess she's growing up!

Here is one night of the five night Home Alone series marathon they enjoyed over break.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians 9:15

This year we opened stockings first.  I honestly think we could stop here!
They love search through it and honestly I enjoy filling it!!

After breakfast, we read a book telling the Christmas story.

Then it is gift time!
In following tradition each child receives three gifts from us and one from each sibling.

Big sis was happy one of her  boxes was big!

Brother is a little strong with showing appreciation!!

I have never gotten Christmas PJs.  Our children LOVE PJs so we have plenty but just never Christmas.  This year lil sis needed them for her program at school so I decided to have them match just once.  Their dolls had them too but I couldn't get either of them to put them on the doll Christmas Eve...go figure!

True love!!

Love seeing these two play together.  It seems to be rare but sweet.

We spent the day playing and relaxing and enjoying each others company!

So thankful that God loved us so much to send His Son to Earth to save us!

Holiday Travels

Over the river and through the woods...
we took a few days to visit the grandparents for Christmas.

First stop was Granny and Granddaddys

Lil sis was checking her Granny's babies.

Big sis finally got their dog to relax in her lap.

We were able to visit, exchange gifts and enjoy yummy seafood.

Next stop was Grandma's house.

Lots of time to visit and play!

And watch the Pirates win their bowl game.

We also made a stop at Granddad Foster's.

So thankful the children get to make these memories with their grandparents.

On Stage!

All three children had Christmas performances on the same stage this year!!
So thankful God's Word is the heart of their education.

Big sis' was more like a chorus concert.
It is amazing to hear the talent and watch the children grow up together.

A Christmas miracle would be all three looking at camera and happy.
I know one day I'll look back at these with a smile.

The grandparents got to enjoy the show as well!

Sweetness!

There's brother right in middle.  His program was so entertaining.   They acted out a story about a reporter searching for facts about Jesus.  Awesome how much one can learn from scripture.

There is lil sis in her debut on the NRCA stage (above the big book)!  Her class was in PJs listening to a story about the true meaning of Christmas.  Yes, I was side stage helping my class.  I enjoyed the birds eye view!!  These 4 & 5 year olds did a fantastic job!

After her show, she was able to take everyone back to her class to see her work.

So thankful for our healthy, happy children!!

Disney on Ice

Because you only turn eight once and a basketball game and party aren't enough...let's throw in Disney on Ice!!
(Actually daddy was offered the company box! He has done an amazing job with community outreach for the company over the years and its so nice to be recognized for your efforts.  This was a personal offer so we got to invite friends to join us!)

These four have know each other for as long as they can remember...actually the boys "met" before birth!  Love to watch them grow up together!!

My sweet friends loves my children like they are hers...and the feeling is mutual!

It was a great show with over 50 characters appearing at some point.
The timing was perfect too because our trip was still fresh.

The party animals reached their limits on ride home!!

Party Time!

Our gift to the children is a party of choice.
We like to do birthdays big especially since its so close to Christmas.
He is very special and we want to celebrate his life!

He chose Adventure Landing and carefully planned his list.

Love.

All 20 boys were able to attend!
The cold rain kept us inside but they all had a blast.

There was a bit of a wait for laser tag but they did not seem to mind one bit!!

Brother and his friends had a blast!

I enjoyed seeing how diverse his friends were and how well he got along with them all.
Happy Birthday Son!
