One More Time!

 

We like taking a final trip to the beach in August before school starts.  Last year we had not anticipate football's impact on this so this year we planned ahead!

We took a trip at the end of July.

 

 

We started off by spending one day at grandma's house.

 

 

Then it was full force beach time.

Our children LOVE it.  We have never vacationed anywhere else.

This is highly due to the fact we have relatives/friends with beach homes but mostly because that's our happy place.  Where else could be more beautiful, relaxing and fun?!?!

 

The weather was actually perfect for us. 

It was not clear and sunny but the overcast kept the temps down!

and catching up!!

 

The pool is right off the balcony so it is always on our way to and from the beach.

On our last evening, grandma was able to get us passes to the place beside us with a waterslide.  We had not done this in June so the children were excited.

2013 Champion Dolphins

 

Swim team is an awesome activity.

It is also very time consuming with three swimmers.

These three were at the pool 2 1/2 hours M-F most of the summer and never one time complained!

 

 

Their hard work paid off with another division championship!!

They were very proud of the trophy.

 



 

The celebration was at the pool of another neighborhood that joins our team each summer.  The children had fun being in a new pool!

He has been our coach for the past four years but will graduate next May.

He will be missed!!!

We enjoyed lots of yummies!





 

Each child received a medal but big sis got a trophy for Most Improved.

She has worked hard and was very proud!!!

 

2013 Dolphins

Hope Reins 2013

Each summer the children pick one week of camp they want to attend.

For the fourth year big sis picked Hope Reins.

This is  an amazing camp for an amazing cause.

She simply loves to be around horses!

It is a Christian environment that allows her to develop skills for caring for and riding horses as well as getting along with others.  On the final day, we join her for a family picnic.



 

Then she got to show us around and tell us about each horse.

I just love that she has this interest. 

 

She also enjoyed the swings!!

Pump It Up Princess Party

Ever since lil sis attended a Pump It Up party with brother that's all she's wanted for her birthday. Today was the day. We've never tried a weekday party but since its summer we gave it a try. It turned out really well!!

 

 

She was so proud...and had to bring her newest baby with her!!

 

Big sis and brother were pretty excited too!

 





 

She had the sweetest class at preschool.  Most of the girls were able to come.  It was fun and a little sad because so many of them are going to different preschools in the fall.

 

The staff had it easy with these two around!!

 

 

 

 

Our birthday girl was so proud to have her friends around her!

She is social and really likes being in a group. 

 

She wanted all princesses this year.

 

The pizza and cupcakes were a given but she insisted on ranch chips, deviled eggs and watermelon.

When I tried to reason her out of a few she stated "It is my party and these are my favorites things so I should have them!"  And have them she did!!

 

She had seen pictures of big sis in this very chair at four and could not wait to get in it!!!
