Birthdays

Three birthdays fall with in 5 days in my family so my parents hosted a little celebration for us all.

It was a fun day!

Happy Birthday Momma!

I love birthdays and always welcome presents and celebrations.

This year we had to celebration the night before due to the fun activities the children are involved in on Wednesdays.  We went out to eat and enjoyed the beautiful evening God had prepared for our family. 

 

Yummy last meal as a thirty something!

 

Blessed beyond measure to be part of this family!!

It was fun to watch the children play around and be excited for me.

 



 

Chocolate cake was in order when we got home!!

 

My birthday started early with presents.

Beautiful sapphire earrings...how did the know?

And since is was a big one, daddy wanted to surprise me....

Well I surprised everyone by planning a Disney trip!!!

(not a total surprise as we were planning to go fall break until I got a job at their school and had workdays.  But it was still a surprise!!!) 

I can't wait to celebration Disney style...apparently if they know its your birthday you get extra attention so I had to do it for the children ;)!

 



 

It was also picture day at preK.

I had also planned to participate in the Pink Shamrock as part of my celebrating.

I was not able to run/walk due to foot issues but had fun volunteering for an amazing organization.

Sleeping Beauty

Mountains

 

 

Big sis and daddy took a camping trip with her Y Tribe.

While planning this we realized our children have never seen the mountains!

The coast is our happy place but she was excited for this trip.

 

 

 

She loved the blob pillow...like the jumping pillows at many farms but over water.

 

 

She jumps on to bounce another girl off then

 

someone jumps on to bounce her off!  She loved it!!

They were able to spend lots of quality time together.

 

Sunday was beautiful and they continued to enjoy the water, zipline, darts and all the activities they could find.  Love the special bond daddy has with each child.

Game #4

Game four has been marked on calendar for a while. 

Brother had to be at field by 7:45  and daddy is at camp with big sis.

We were able to pull it off and lil sis was a champ waiting!

 

 

Lil sis is learning how to keep herself busy at brother's games.

I have to admit that I am beginning to enjoy watching him become more aggressive.

It was tough game that ended in a tie. 

 

I am also enjoying watching this doll grow up!

Game #3 = First Loss

 

Football is in full swing.  Our boy simply loves it.

He is very knowledgeable about he game from all the games he has watched since 3 but now he's growing as a player.  He is developing into a leader.  He is disciplined and tough.

 

 

He is enjoying playing both ways this year.

Today was his first loss.  I was impressed with how he handled it.

He played well and it was a close game.

Pre-K Fun

 Lil sis and momma are having so much fun at our new school.

The pre-K program is brand new and doing well.

She is adjusting to 5 days while momma is adjusting to 4.

The older two love seeing her in the hall and coming to my room after school!

 

I snuck this one yesterday of her on the playground (far right in orange headband).

 

Her teacher sent me these of her hard at work with technology.  I am guessing soon she too will be able to help her parents figure things out!!

 

Game #2

Football season is in full swing and today was game #2.

Bulldogs played well and won!!

Its also sweet to watch lil sis develop friendships.

This girl's dad is a coach so we see her a lot.

Chapel

Today big sis' class was leading chapel and she had a reading part.

Since it was first thing in their day and daddy drives in the morning, he was able to stay.

Lil sis and I just had to arrive a little early.

Priceless to for us all to be a part of God's work at this amazing school!

 

 

Lil sis really enjoyed herself!  She knew many of the praise songs and was not shy about singing!

 

Big sis did so well!

My heart is full listening to children read God's word.
