Veggies

Our school hosted the Veggie Tales for a birthday show.
We decided it would be fun for all of us!

And it was.  The older two (especially brother) loved the Veggie Tales when they were younger and still do on occasion.  Lil sis enjoys them as well.

Lil sis and mommy got back stage passed to meet Bob and Larry.

I wasn't quite sure how she would do but she loved it!!!!!

Fall Festival

Our photo shoot before our church's annual Fall Festival was fun!
(Snow White - lil sis, Wicked Queen - big sis, Troy Polamalu - brother)

It was also neat because it was almost exactly 11 years since mommy and daddy moved into this house!

We had fun playing games

and enjoying treats.

Bowl Game

At the conclusion of the season each team plays in a bowl game.
When the boys are older (11 or 12 I think) they actually advance and play all over the region for the rights for the  championship game in Disney!

The team played well but it was close.

Yep, there's #52 making a tackle.

He always had the best cheering section all season!

Bulldogs won!!

After the game the team charged across the field to their families and received medals from the coach.  Notice who is leading the pack.  Our boy is such a team player.  He just took it all in!

Honestly, I would not change on thing about our son.
We are so blessed and proud of him!

 We love you #52

Field Trips

Each child has had a field trip this fall.
Daddy got to go with the older two and mommy with lil sis.

Big sis fourth grade class went to an historic area to learn history.
They were able to enjoy a picnic too.

Brother's class went to the history museum and then mall for lunch due to weather.

Lil sis and mommy got to got to the coolest place ever for preschool age.
It is a wide open space for children to run and play freely!
It was a bit chilly but totally awesome!!

This was a larger board painted white.  There were lots of washable pants available for the artists to create.  They then sprayed it with a water hose so the children could start over...genius!

They heard The Parable of the Pumpkin by a campfire,

made pumpkins,

and played in this wonderful outside kitchen.

Then up the hill for the slide!

The tree house play set was huge.  She liked the horse swing best!!

The bouncing pillow was also a hit.

This face says it all.
We stayed as long as we could and she enjoyed every single minute!!!

Fall Break

Our school had fall break at the end of last week.
It is the one break the children had but teachers don't...so Daddy was in charge.

After getting their flu mist, they were off for an adventurous day!

They spent most of the day at one of their favorite local spots...the museum.
It had been months since they had been and it was a nice day.

Then today was "Fair Day" and since we just aren't into the fair we had a mommy adventure.
It was a beautiful fall day to be outside!

This shot captures our youngest so well. She is full of joy straight from the Lord and oh so spunky!  She is confident and has opinions all of her own.
Music is her love language.  It calms her, excites her and just plain makes her happy.  She can often be overheard creating her own melody.  Thankfully she is singing praises to the Lord in most of them!!

This smile just makes the world right.  Our son is so thoughtful and selfless.
He would honestly give up anything he had for anyone of us in his family without prompting.
His is very bright and fantastically witty.  He his compassionate and tough.  He is full of knowledge about any and all sports. He will make a wonderful husband in about 20 years ;)!

Our fun loving oldest child.  She is confident and compassionate as well as super creative.
She can replicate almost anything she sees.  She has a passion for animals and enjoys reading.
She is very sensitive and easy to give grace to others.

After some fun outside we brought the fun inside.
I took the children to the store and told them to pick out one board game.
Big sis has never been big on games so we just don't have many.
Brothers LOVES them so I decided it was time to build our collection.
Boy did I learn a few things about my children while playing.
They spent hours playing one game.  Hoping they learn some money matters while playing!

Thankful for our time together!
