Boys at Camp

Triple!!

 

At the beginning of the season brother's coach recommended a different size bat.

It is making a huge difference...coming home from his first triple of season!

Saturday FUN!

 

Weekends are treasured family times.  We try to do things together but often it is meet here, go there and end up in another location.  I wouldn't change a second but its a juggling act sometimes!

Today was not exception!

 

 

We started our day together doing chores at Hope Reins would our Adult Sunday School class.

 

A lot of fun and a little play was also involved.

Then it was opening day for brother's baseball league.

Lots of fun and festivities were at fields.

 





Brother was so excited to play a game again!

 



 

He takes it all in...every play!

 

 

Daddy and big sis met us there mid-way through game after meeting her Y tribe at Adventure Landing for fun. 

 

 

Once home...they went outside for more!!

 

Busy, busy but blessed to be happy and healthy!

 

 

 



Boys

 

Brother's class had a fun boys only afternoon at Adventure Landing!

I am so thankful daddy doesn't do these activities because he has to but he desires to.

Chocolate

 

The preK classes took a field trip today to tour a local chocolate factory followed by a trip to Pullen Park.  Fun and Yummy!!

 

 

 

The tour was neat but a little over their heads.

 

The park was perfect!!!!

 

We had a blast riding and playing with her friends!

 

 

 

Momma was able to sneak a little treat for her!!

Picture Day

 

Today was picture day for our elementary school.

This the first time ever (seriously!) big sis has asked for a dress.

Yes, I've been successful in bribing her when much younger but never by choice.  I was thrilled!!

Circus Day

 

Our PreK had circus day planned in January that got snowed out...so due to time and space constraints we did a parade today with other activities in classrooms.

Lil sis was beyond excited to be a dancer.  She chose this and had a blast selecting her attire!!

She played her role very, very well dancing and twirling the whole time!!

 

She helped me make clown cupcakes for her class special lunch.

It is so fun to have her so close!!

Modesty Fashion Show

 

 

 

 

Our church held a Modesty Fashion Show.

The girls met with a lady from our church a few times to discuss Biblical principles for dressing in a modest fashion.  Big sis was not sold on doing this at first but once she realize Saige could join her she was in.  This modest behavior is part of her beauty.

 

 

Each girl was asked to highlight their favorite charity and Bible verse.

She chose Hope Reins and Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

 



 

It was pretty awesome seeing all of these young girls gaining confidence and showing their personalities in this setting.

 

Lil sis was not old enough this year...but I think she'll be interested next year!

So proud of the young lady the Lord is shaping her into!
