Student of the Month - Helpful

WARNING: Proud parent moment.
Big sis' teacher selected her as Student of the Month for the character trait of helpfulness.
She is an excellent student.  She is obedient, self sufficient and apparently helpful.
She works hard and it was nice to see her recognized.

Lil sis, daddy and I were in the audience to surprise her!

Her principal congratulating her.
She got to joint others selected for a special lunch on Friday.

Super proud of the young lady she is becoming!!

Foul Ball

Easter 2014

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him...

1 Peter 1:8

"Why are you looking for the living among the dead?" asked the men. "He is not here, but He has been resurrected!"
Luke 24:5-6

In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank you, LORD!"

Isaiah 12:4-5

This hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit...

Romans 5:5

This drawing by big sis made me smile.
So thankful that these precious children understand and celebrate the true meaning of Easter!

Spring Show 2014

The stables where big sis rides has two shows a year.  She always enjoys watching and participating.  In an effort to keep them a bit shorter some of the events were judged at her lesson the Wednesday before.   Above is a picture daddy took while watching this part.

She is so passionate about these beautiful animals.  She is comfortable around them and naturally gifted in caring for them.  It is amazing to watch her at work.

Grandma is one of her biggest fans!

She is so graceful on Charlie.

She and Nellie got to do a carrot pick up in which she slows the horse just enough to pick up the carrots but keep a good pace as it is a timed race.  She had great control!!

Brother had an early game but they were able to see her in most events!

Lil sis just took in the cool spring day!

Sweet girls have been friends since they met at 3!

Organizing and displaying the ribbons is pretty fun too!

We are so proud of our horse rider!!!
Dream big baby girl!!!

Happiness

I found this note on the board this morning!
I love that our son is just like his daddy...sensitive and tough!
