VBS

Another week we look forward to all year...Vacation Bible School!

Big sis was able to participate on the Praise Team again.
She loves being part of this and the music is always great!

Cutest spy I've every seen!

During the week the church collects Operation Christmas Child boxes to send around the world.
We love filling these up each year  and praying for a child in another country to have a special Christmas!

We were also blessed to have Dan the Animal Man return with  his creatures again.
He presents the Gospel boldly with these magnificent creatures!

Beyond thankful for our church and the truths poured into our children on a regular basis!

Beach 2014

Nine glorious days at the beach....our annual tradition!
We all look forward to the time all year!

Grandma always leaves surprises for the children!

We could not wait to get out to the beach!  It had been almost 11 months!!

We got to celebrate Father's Day in one of daddy's favorite locations.
He is such a Godly leader of our family.  The children admire him greatly and he gives them his undivided attention  makes it a point to spend one on one time with them often.
I see brother modeling this selfless behavior more and more!

We added a new member to our family.
We "adopted"  a boy through World Mission.
A wonderful way to share all the Lord has given to us!

This picture show brothers feelings towards the ocean. He was perfectly content sitting on shore watching.  It wasn't until the last day that he actual got in and enjoyed the waves.

We got to spend time with our the grandparents,

shopping,

digging,

burying,

and enjoying God's great creation!

Almost 24 years ago we had our first kiss on a similar pier not too far from this one!

Sand angels were a first for me!

We were able to visit Fort Macon.

Taking a  night walk is always a must!

One evening, the boys headed to a baseball game while grandma treated the girls to their first real pedicure!  They loved every minute!

While at the aquarium the divers entertained us!

It was nice to be away for the normal and spend quality family time in our favorite place.

Straight As and perfect attendance for our boy!

He had such a good group of buddies in his class this year!
His teacher said he is quiet in class but a leader at recess!

So much like his daddy.  He is not comfortable in the spotlight but very worthy!!!

Big sis' last day of fourth grade...one more year of elementary school!!!
She had a great year also.  She met a few new challenges with poise and courage.

Straight As and perfect attendance for her as well!!
She has 4 days in 5 years.  Praise the Lord for healthy children!!!

She was also recognized for being invited to participate in the Duke TIP program.
So proud of the young lady she is becoming!

Lil sis joined each ceremony and cheered her big siblings on.
Hard to believe next year they all three will be in elementary school!!!

Now that we have all collected our certificates...

All Star

This year was brother's first year eligible for the All Star team for his age.
His coach selected him  and brother was beside excited.
He has watched enough sports to know it was a honor to be selected.

It was awesome watching him play with others at the same level.
Defiantly took the game to a new level and he LOVED it!

Love my lefty!!!

Could he be happier?
His coach gave him the game ball at the end of their tournament.
He gives all he can every play and it stands out.

One proud daddy!

Two beautiful sisters who secretly enjoy cheering for their awesome brother!
