For the first time in awhile we had a free Saturday.

Went got to spend the entire day togother enjoying the sunshine!

Friday Night Football

Some of our local football teams have been doing well in the post season which has allowed brother and daddy to get the Friday Night Fever!  The coolest part is that brother has played on this field!

Lil sis asked for a ring so I let her try one on...needless to say it didn't last long with her!

Field Trip

Daddy got to go with big sis on her first third grade field trip.

How appropriate that they went to Chapel Hill?!

The Morehead Planetarium was the main attraction but its always nice to be there on a sunny fall day!  She loved hearing the story of our proposal at the Old Well over 18 years ago!

New Traditions!

This was the first year we did not attend our church's Fall Festival.  It was on a busy day and would have been tight but the bigger issue was it is not longer an alternative to Halloween but held earlier in the week.  This leaves us hanging on the 31st!

So this year we started a new tradition!

The children said candy is what the would miss the most.

With this in mind we gave them each cash to pick out candy, we got ice cream and a new movie.

We then headed over to grandma's townhouse to create sundaes and memories!
