Disney on Ice

Because you only turn eight once and a basketball game and party aren't enough...let's throw in Disney on Ice!!
(Actually daddy was offered the company box! He has done an amazing job with community outreach for the company over the years and its so nice to be recognized for your efforts.  This was a personal offer so we got to invite friends to join us!)

These four have know each other for as long as they can remember...actually the boys "met" before birth!  Love to watch them grow up together!!

My sweet friends loves my children like they are hers...and the feeling is mutual!

It was a great show with over 50 characters appearing at some point.
The timing was perfect too because our trip was still fresh.

The party animals reached their limits on ride home!!

Party Time!

Our gift to the children is a party of choice.
We like to do birthdays big especially since its so close to Christmas.
He is very special and we want to celebrate his life!

He chose Adventure Landing and carefully planned his list.

Love.

All 20 boys were able to attend!
The cold rain kept us inside but they all had a blast.

There was a bit of a wait for laser tag but they did not seem to mind one bit!!

Brother and his friends had a blast!

I enjoyed seeing how diverse his friends were and how well he got along with them all.
Happy Birthday Son!

Eight!

Our precious 10 pound boy is eight!!

The days go slow and the years fast!

We had a super fun day planned to celebrate his special life!

Krispy Kreme was his breakfast choice!

Here is a picture of him having a birthday donut at 2!
Oh how I'd love to hold my baby boy again!

Then gifts from sisters.

Next came a basketball game.

Love how hard he plays every second he's on court!

Special hugs for special gifts!!

Our son is just so special and like his daddy in so many ways.
Although the sweet tooth is straight from momma!
He loves to play and has become quite the leader among his friends.
He is as sharp as they come in all academic areas.
He never forgets a stat and knows more about all sports then most grown men do!
We adore him and look forward to watching God continue to mature him and grow him up in His likeness.

And because they are adorable and he loves them so!

Special Students

This week was brother and lil sis' special week at school.
I was bummed at first but it actually worked out well.
Each to take a special board with pictures, mommy & daddy came to lunch on separate days, and we gave our friends a special treat!  I love celebrating their precious lives!

Momma came on Monday.  Pizza, Pizza!

On Friday, we all went out for an afterschool treat.
And to pick up breakfast for the birthday boy!!!

Gingerbread Girl

Our PreK classes had a gingerbread day.
Lil sis was excited to participate in the fun!

I love, love popping in and seeing her in action.
Best of both worlds to be a teacher at their school!

She was so proud to bring her gingerbread man home...then promptly forgot about it!
