Pumpkin Patch

Today was  a very special day lil sis had been looking forward to!
We got to go to a local farm with her preschool class.
She was so excited!!

The weather was great...maybe a bit warm!

She enjoyed everything but the camera :)

We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch for a picnic and to pick a pumpkin!

She is the cutest pumpkin in the patch!!!

After our picnic most of her friends went home but we had an extra hour to play.
First stop was the train.  As you can see above she love the "choo choo!"

She sat perfectly still and just took it all in!

We also visited the corn house again.  This was her favorite!

Then we took a pony ride.  She sat up there  and held on just like the lady asked her too.  When she got off she wanted to pet it.  I think she's seen big sis do this a lot!

We had a great day but by the end she was done with pictures!
I loved spending the day with my baby girl!!!

Open House Night

Tonight we were all able to go to Open House at school (no football due to weather!)
The children were excited to show off their work and classrooms!

Brother's scarecrow was daddy's favorite because it was named after him!!

How cute are they all paying attention to her?!?

Big sis' artwork was chosen for display which made her very happy!

It was a fun night together but after an hour or so lil sis was actually climbing the walls!!!

Game 7

I walked around today like I was floating on air.  Not one minute to spare most of the morning but a heart full watching our two oldest children do what the have a passion for.  We do not push them into any activity but encourage them to consider things and stay involved with something active.  For our son its all about a ball!  Football to be exact. He plays and watches all other sports but football has always been extra special to him...since he was 3!
He has been blessed with consistent coached and a strong team!
Today was their seventh game and the competition was strong.  They other team had not lost, they had a tie but like us no losses!  It was the toughest game by far.  They coaches had prepared them well and they won!

( I have pretty much stopped trying to get game shots because its impossible!)

Win number 7 was closer than any other.
Our TMR Bulldogs won 14-7 but it was a hard fought victory!
So proud of #25!!

First Horse Show

Big sis has really falled in love with Peanut.
Peanut is a horse at the stables were she rides weekly.
He is a calm gentle and sometimes stubborn guy but she loves him!
Today she got to participate in her first show with him.
She was excited and soaked up every single minute she was at the barn.
It was heart warming to see her compassion for these animals.
She rode beautifully as well!

She placed second for her age group in both events!

Once her events were over she and grandma hung around the barn to watch the other girls while the rest of us darted to brother's game!  During her down time she hung out with Peanut anytime he wasn't being shown.  Very cute!

So proud of our confident, happy and loving girl!

Fall Beach Trip

Brother's football team had a bye week so we took off for a weekend at the beach.
It was nice to get away and have two days to just hang out!

We arrived late and took a night walk on the beach,

read lots of books,

soaked up the sunshine,

swam,

collected,

acted silly,

relaxed,

played,

fed,

jumped waves,

and enjoyed family time!!!!

Twenty two years ago tonight we went on our first date.
We knew that night we'd be together forever!
So thankful the Lord gave us each other at such a young age.
We've grown stronger with each day, trial, sickness and  birth!
