Resurrection Day

Today we remembered and celebrated our risen Lord!
The children woke up excited about the day which made it even more special.
We had "Tomb Rolls" for breakfast and stopped for a few pictures before church.

On such a meaningful day, I thought I'd reflect on our great earthly blessings.
 Our Children.

Big Sis - 9 years 2 months 2 days

Sweet, sassy, stylish, joyful, creative, imaginative, analytical and social.
This girl is amazing.  She is a straight A student and enjoys creating things.
She is passionate about horses and art.
She is pushing boundaries and figuring life out but knows right from wrong.
She has God's word tucked in her heart and pulls it out more and more!

Brother - 7 years 3 months 17 days

Our son is brings such joy to our family.
He is a strong, quiet, athletic, smart peace maker.
He is excelling in first grade and sports.
He enjoys learning facts about players from all sports and has a remarkable memory.
His heart is full of love for his family!
He is a role model through and through!

Lil Sis - 3 years 8 months 7 days

Oh my, there aren't words to describe this cutie...but I'll try.
She is joyful, happy, loving, vocal, busy, compassionate and wise well beyond her years!
Music is her love language and her songs are beautiuful.
She never forgets a detail or person.
She is very social and thrives when surrounded by others.
So exciting to watch her independence develop!!

I pray that big things are ahead for these three but most importantly I want them to know and understand the depth of their Savior's love for them.  He died for them and that is true love!

G-O-D is Love!

Lil sis' love language is music.
She loves music and thanks to her wonderful teachers, Jesus is usually the theme of her tunes!
I just love the way she creates her own arrangements!!
Today she preformed their Easter musical on stage.
She remember Christmas and was super excited about going back up there!
Yep, she loves to entertain!!!

Love the surprise on her face here...and our front row seats!!

Her sweet class singing praises to our Lord.
Is there anything sweeter?

She did not miss a beat.  She sang and did all the motions!

High five for daddy on the way out!

P*I*N*K*

Our girl likes the "other" team because of a dear angel's daughter.
For this reason daddy not only tolerates but supports her!
They were about to go with her friend on her mom's birthday.
What a special way to celebrate!
It was also special because the event was honoring breast cancer survivors and she has prayed for a friend's mom who is also a Wolfpack fan. Extra cool was seeing her there during the halftime celebration. SO much good to even focus on the actual location!!

This special girl has the best daddy!!

And a whole lot of spunk!!

Daddy's Adventures

Daddy's Adventures captured on his iphone ( momma finally got it to retrive some pictures!)
He is such a role model for what daddy's should be.  He chooses to be with this children every chance he gets.  He is strong and sensitive with them.  He is a spiritual leader for our family.
