MVP

The Bulldogs had an end of the year celebration tonight.
He just loves being part of a team.
He is so confident and social around peers.

Lil sis was so proud of all the compliments coach said about brother.
Some I remember..."role model, watch him to know what to do, always ready..."
I was a proud momma!

More hardware!
It was getting late on a cold, wet school night so as the banquet was wrapping up we left quickly.
The next day we got an email for a coach saying they had special trophy for brother.
The league asks for individuals not be singled out for accomplishments but his team of 5 coached had gotten together to acknowledge extraordinary players.
They all voted for brother to be the teams MVP.
He was beside himself and truly knew what this meant.
He deserved this for so many reasons. He is a role model and leader for the field.  He is coachable and well disciplined.  He supported the team on the field and on the sidelines.
We were so proud and quick to point out this is what we are call to do.  The Lord expects us as Christians to stand out and be different.  It is amazing that he does this at seven in a group of 20+ peers. His coaches saw something different in his behavior.  They noticed his commitment and desire to do his best and improve.

Happy Boy!

Daddy was with big sis the night of the banquet so we had a separate celebration.
I adore who much our son is like his daddy.
